EARRINGS

The vast majority of our earrings are Native American Indian in origin, made by hand. The posts or hooks are typically not handmade. Earrings are secured by post or hooks unless otherwise indicated. *PLEASE NOTE that many Native American Indian hand made items were NOT SIGNED, but may be more desirable and of higher quality than signed pieces. It is also interesting to note that It was often times considered โ€œegotisticalโ€™ or โ€œboisterousโ€ among tribal members to sign or hallmark their pieces. Artist’s signatures and “Sterling” stamped on pieces are a relatively recent practice among silversmiths. We will indicate when a piece is clearly โ€œnon-native-American-Indianโ€ made. The metal is sterling silver, which is 92.5% pure silver and 7.5% alloy, unless otherwise indicated.
