EARRINGS

The vast majority of our earrings are Native American Indian in origin, made by hand. The posts and hooks are typically manufactured, unless otherwise indicated.

*PLEASE NOTE that many Native American Indian hand made items were NOT SIGNED, but may be more desirable and of higher quality than signed pieces. It is also interesting to note that It was often times considered β€œegotistical’ or β€œboisterous” among tribal members to sign or hallmark their pieces. Artist’s signatures and β€œSterling” stamped on pieces are a relatively recent practice among silversmiths. We will indicate when a piece is clearly β€œnon-native-American-Indian” made.

The metal is sterling silver, which is 92.5% pure silver and 7.5% alloy, unless otherwise indicated.

Gram weights are given in the listings.
