PINS

Our pins/pendants are handmade by Native American Indian artisans. Pins sometimes include a bale for hanging the pin to wear as a pendant. This bale will be visible in photographs of the piece, if it is included. *PLEASE NOTE that many Native American Indian hand made items were NOT SIGNED, but may be more desirable and of higher quality than signed pieces. It is also interesting to note that It was often times considered β€œegotistical’ or β€œboisterous” among tribal members to sign or hallmark their pieces. Artist’s signatures and β€œSterling” stamped on pieces are a relatively recent practice among silversmiths. The metal is sterling silver, which is 92.5% pure silver and 7.5% alloy, unless otherwise indicated.
