NECKLACES

The necklaces we offer typically include both a chain and pendant. The chain is usually machine made and the pendant is typically crafted by a Native American Indian. *PLEASE NOTE that many Native American Indian hand made items were NOT SIGNED, but may be more desirable and of higher quality than signed pieces. It is also interesting to note that It was often times considered โ€œegotisticalโ€™ or โ€œboisterousโ€ among tribal members to sign or hallmark their pieces. Artistโ€™s signatures and โ€œSterlingโ€ stamped on pieces are a relatively recent practice among silversmiths. We will indicate when a piece is clearly โ€œnon-Indianโ€ made. The metal is sterling silver, which is 92.5% pure silver and 7.5% alloy, unless otherwise indicated.
