BELT BUCKLES

The belt buckles we offer are hand made Native American Indian works of art. A buckle attaches to a belt to secure pants, and may only fit certain size leather belts. The dimensions of the belt buckle loop is included in the description so you can order the appropriate size buckle to fit your belt. *PLEASE NOTE that many Native American Indian hand made items were NOT SIGNED, but may be more desirable and of higher quality than signed pieces. It is also interesting to note that It was often times considered “egotistical’ or “boisterous” among tribal members to sign or hallmark their pieces. Artist’s signatures and “Sterling” stamped on pieces are a relatively recent practice among silversmiths. We will indicate when a piece is clearly “non-Indian” made. The metal is sterling silver, which is 92.5% pure silver and 7.5% alloy, unless otherwise indicated.
