artist JAMES FENDENHEIM Tohono O'odham Nation

James Fendenheim is a graduate of the prestigious Santa Fe Institute of American Indian Art in New Mexico. He was also an instructor at the Institute. James has a German father and his mom is Tohono O’odham. His work has won numerous awards. He participates in the prestigious (Juried) Santa Fe Indian Market as well as shows at the Smithsonian Institution and the Heard Museum. Each one of his pieces are one-of-a-kind and handmade. James resides in Tucson, Arizona, and we purchase his pieces directly from him. He is a legend in the Native American Indian Jewelry business. When possible, we photograph James with his individual pieces! James has worked along side other famous silversmiths, including Charles Loloma, Michael Kabotie, Sam Patania, Skip Holbrook (Institute of Indian Arts, Santa Fe, N.M.) & Clinton Leon (Haskell Indian School, Lawrence Kansas)
