- Virgil Thomas passed away in 1986.
- Hopi Craft was an enterprise operated by Wayne and Emory Sekaquaptewa (1962–1983) where pieces were initially marked with the company insignia before some smiths added personal initials.
- The quality of the silverwork here can be seen in the precisely cut designs in the upper layer of silver, and in the finely textured and deeply oxidized lower layer of silver.
