Description

  • Howard Sice (Hopi – Laguna)  Arizona. Throughout Howard’s career, he has been the recipient of numerous awards, including Best of Show and 1st Place.
  • He was raised on the Laguna Pueblo of Paraje but also spent time with relatives in Hopi, so his work displays influences from both cultures. He held a 1992 SWAIA fellowship.
  • Howard uses Argentium, which is classified as Sterling, as it still has a 92.5% silver content. The customary alloy of sterling silver has copper. Argentium is silver that the copper is replaced with Germanium. Argentium is distinctly hallmarked with a flying unicorn.
