- His nali is Bit’ahnii (Folded Arms); chei is Haltsooi (Meadow People). He died Feb. 16, 2016, in Gallup.
- Floyd graduated from Tohatchi High School and attended college in Silver City for one year. He also served in the Marine Corps at Camp Pendleton for one year.
