  • Stewart Tewawina Dacawyma is a Hopi silversmith from the village of Shungopavi, known for his work in the Hopi overlay technique.
  • He is a member of the Snow clan and is the nephew of the renowned Hopi artist Bernard Dawahoya. 
  • Dacawyma, who began his career in 1976, is recognized for his detailed work often featuring traditional Hopi designs like water, waves, and rain clouds, and his hallmark is a “One-Horn Society” symbol.
