Description
- These are beautiful, natural Bisbee Turquoise earrings by one of the most collectable Navajo silversmiths, Mark Chee.
- Mark Chee is Navajo (Dine’). He lived from 1930 to 1981. He is from the Lukachukai Mountains area near the Four Corners area. He enlisted in the military in 1942 and ended his enlistment in 1945.
- Mark began making jewelry and in 1946, he won first prize and the Inter-Tribal Indian Ceremonial in Gallup, NM. He later joined both the Al Packard and Frank Patania galleries in Santa Fe, NM. He passed away at the age of 67.
